Default homebrew bikini top

used new york wire pet-d-fence screening found at lowes #45042 (70587)$13.99 also bought a stanley grommet kit 3/8" #45324 (fg238k) on clearance $1.20. toggle balls were from wallyworld $8.50.

rear corners are attached to my grab handles bolted to the sound bar.

and all folded up

requested pics.

better shot of the rear corners.

with hard top on front half rolled and tucked on top of the rear half.

having headroom problems: i had the rear corners under the roll cage so now it is over the roll cage, toggle ball cord goes through the grommet, toggle ball stays seated at the grommet, the cord loop is routed between the hardtop and roll cage and then secured by the rear speaker grab handles. gained about 2" of head room clearance.

not my video and not my grommets but same concept.

yes the extra inch on all four sides is doubled over with the grommets then installed like how the video shows.

Wow great idea. I was thinking of finding a old trampoline and using that but that seems like a cheaper and better idea.

Definitely post up measurements. Nice work! Have been thinking of going with a dual dirty dog setup, but may just have to follow your lead and do something like this.

I think I will give it a try with a twist. I will see if it will look OK using 1 piece to cover the front and back seat.

Great job for sure, I took the easy way out and just bought a spiderweb shade this weekend. Maybe I will try this out for the TJ
