Some time ago i saw a great write up for replacing the rubber hood latches with a solid pin design.

Could sombody reply with a link?

Let us know if the daystar work. I have been looking at them put can't find anyone who has a set installed to see if they do the trick.

 

I just installed the Daystar latches today, and they definitely fix the flap. My only complaints are they they are REALLY hard to close. Some people in other threads claim that they loosen up after a few weeks, so if they do, that would solve my only complaint with them...
