I've got the lifeproof case too. LOVE IT. I go fishing a lot 4-5 times a week on my little Jon boat in the chattahoochie river in Georgia and lifeproof has saved my iPhone numerous times. I actually own two lifeproof cases.... I just wish they'd make a battery lifeproof case as I tend to take photos of the fish I catch on my boat a lot. I've got a windshield mount now but don't like it. I want to mount it lower and more sturdy than the bouncy mount I have. I use Rev or dashcommand with my Kiwi wifi OBD II plug to monitor all sorts of stuff. I can get horsepower, torque, and all kinds of stuff from the ECU. I can tell my intake temp, coolant temp, timing advance, avg gas mileage and instant. It's great.

I as well have the lifeproof case and swear by it.

But I went with a different mount which I get a lot of questions on:

Mountek nGroove CD Slot Car Mount #1 Top Rated, Best Seller List

It just mounts into the CD tray (who uses cds still..)
Works amazing and still lets me read a text when it comes in or I can use the navigation or easily plug it into the aux in.

Love this mount!

True. But that's a problem if you have the touch screen in your jeep. Looks good though

In my opinion give it about 6 months. 2 reasons.
1) there the first iPhone 5's so there gonna have problems. I personally don't want that problem and Siri does what I need on the 4s
2)I'm not paying $600 dollars for a phone I know going to f up. Plus I'd rather spend $600 on my jeep anyways.
That's my 2 cents

I bought the life proof case when at the same time I got my phone and having two young kids, it has saved me many times. I haven't gotten brave enough to submerge it but, I have taken it in the shower to use as a mirror for shaving.

And to mOjO_JK, the Lifeproof case is smaller that the Otter Box cases.

On another note, has anyone seen the Lifeproof Life jacket?

Can't believe I never thought of putting the armband on the roll bar?

Yeah I have the lifejacket for mine and I love it. As soon as I got it out the box I put it on my case and threw it straight into the pool. Floated right to the top. Since then I've thrown it in the river and it never fails to stay on the top of the water!

I love my life proof cover, a cover that allows you to take pics or video underwater is unbelievable.
