Ive have a 12 rubicon/jk8 and don't have that port on the radio face,The manual says there's a port in the console? or im i reading it wong. and if not is it a big deal to get one installed

I have one in the center console arm rest. it's inside on the front section near the top of the box. (see pic)

If you have any of the UConnect radio options on your JK there should be a USB port inside the console.......... its kinda on the upperish right front of the inside.

I don;t have that in the console? i do have a single opening on the face thats says aux could all i need is a adt from that to my ipod?

If you use a 1/8 male to male cable to your head phone port in the Iphone it will work.

Thanks that what i did, i just can't see why with all the 12v and 120v ports no usb port thats crazy

Do you have Connectivity group? It includes the console USB, vehicle info center in dash, Bluetooth phone and audio. Without that, you won't have the USB connector.
