JK Door Removal Write-Up
Without a doubt, there really is, only one Jeep. Unlike any other vehicle available today, a Jeep Wrangler is the only one that’s specifically designed to perform exceptionally well off road and right out of the box. Of course, another key feature that makes a Jeep so unique is the fact that above and beyond being a convertable, it’s also purposefully built to have it’s doors removed as well. In this configuration, the Jeep finds its true identity as an individual - it’s not a car, not a van, not a truck and most certianly, not an SUV.
I've gotten a lot of requests for this write-up and, if you’re ready to experience your Jeep free of top and doors, this easy to follow write-up will help you to get there.

JK Door Removal Write-Up
Thanks for the great wrie-up wayoflife! Perfect timing as it's supposed to be 90 degrees and sunny this weekend. I plan to remove the doors for the first time Saturday morning and can't wait.
One thing I do is put a small piece of cardboard between the ratchet and the paint job. Protects my paint from looking like I beat the hell out of it in frustration. Also allows for a little quicker ratcheting, in my opinion.

I didn't know that is how you are supposed to remove your doors, hell I used a cutting torch on mine.
I just leave those torx nuts off. That way I don't have to worry about dinging my doors.

Hi Eddie to pick up were you left off the easiest way to get the doors off is to roll the windows down reach through and grab the handel on the inside of the door and lift .This also gives you some control then you put the door back on.
