Moved AUX port to rear of Radio HU
#21
don't know why his pics aren't there but he did some connecting in the back of the radio to then have a wire to run down to the middle console, etc.
If your head unit already has an input jack in the front, then you can do what i did. just get the thinnest audio plug you can find at walmart, radio shack whatever and preferrable to have one that is a 90 degree angle, take the front dash panel off, connect the wire to the front aux port, then route the wire down to wherever you want to and re-apply the front dash panel, then all that is showing or in the way is the end plug of the wire.

Hey, sorry everybody
I thought I lost the pictures, but luckily I found them the other day.
I've got to upload them again to another location, since the site I used went under.
As soon as I get a moment (I'm at work right now) I'll repost them, and edit my original post.
I almost got my hands on a mygig, but I think that fell through.
Hopefully, by the end of the year, I'll have a writeup for the 6 disc, as my initial look into it looked easy.

That would be a cool idea! Be sure to put up some pics if you do (and don't take as long as I did).

For those of you that have done this mod, I have some questions.
I just completed it, and got sound working, However.... It sounds like the decibles have been cut in half. Did anyone experience this?
Now that I think about it, maybe it makes sense? Essentially, you are splitting the source signal path in 2??? Anyways, maybe I did something wrong, but I am getting audio.
So how does yours sound when you relocated it to the back?
