Back on topic..I see what you're saying. Though I don't seem to have a problem spilling the filter oil, I can see how at least if you had the half bottle up there you could screw it off quickly and not worry about spillage....

As it stands I just take it off slowly and aim carefully...so in a hurry, I can see how this would definitely prove valuable. Good idea! I'll try it next time.
