My rear mat solution.
I agree. It is a good idea if you are having this problem, but I as you, have never had a problem with my slush mats ever being moved out of position. And I have two kids in the back of mine who are always screwing around, and generally messing most everything else up in the Jeep.
The front mats aren't a problem but the rear mat did start to float with the doors off at about 45 mph. Would the fly out? maybe not, but with them pinned down I don't have to worry about it.
Plus I was in a "i need to make something" mood.

Yeah I'm from Georgia but I go to school in Arkansas. The wind caught me off guard, namely the side wind. It isn't this flat at home, so I'm not used to it. I have to take my mats out of the back when the doors are off, but I'm wondering if the husky liners would stay put. I have some in the front and love them.
Great idea! The first ride I took without doors I nearly lost my rear mats, too! My daughter was sitting in the back but she is only in a booster seat so her feet don't touch the ground. She started to freak out while we were driving down the road and I thought something terrible had happened to her.
Since then I have always just pulled them out when the doors come off but this would be nice since I like to have them in there to keep the dirt and grime off the carpet. That is until I yank the carpet out and have the whole tub bed lined.
