Default no door mirror solution

I just got a new, upgraded to a 4 door (it was hard to trade in my baby but i already love the new jeep) On the last one I had the RR mirror relocation bracket but they were just eh. So on the new one i wanted to do something new. At first I tried some motorcycle mirrors but hated them couldn't see anything and didn't feel comfortable with them at all. After i wasted that 20 dollars i decided to go to the local hardware store and spend much less on hardware and 16 dollars for two 5 in convex mirrors from autozone.

all in all im much happier.

3 foot 3/8 allthread
8 3/8 nuts
4 washers
4 ruber washers

cut the allthread in half place two nuts on one end to mount the mirror two and one a few inches up on the other side to pinch the door hinge with. secure with red locktight.

heated them up with a propane toch to pace a S bend in them

mount them very happy much happier then i was with the motorcycle mirrors i can see amazingly now

here are some pictures to help. im painting them black with plasti dip

they vibrate alittle whole driving but it is minor could be much worse. im just glad they dont whistle

i like that it looks sharp and stout. I adjusted them so they sat closser to the body so now the vibrations only happen when i hit bumps. i guess we will see how annoying they are off road when everything is a bump

I put on Rugged ridge mirror relocation brackets so I could use my door mirrors. I love them. No vibration or noise from wind. Passanger side needs a bubble mirror though for better vision with the doors on..

I like that. What size bolt did you use to go through the door hinge?

Dont remember i think it was a 3/8s cause thats what size i drilled in the arm part. Even on bumps it doesn't vib does great even past 70mph, i smacked a couple of limbs on the trail and it didn't budge. Now i just need one for the passenger side.
