Pedal extender
 

My wife is 4'11. She is complaining that her right leg hurts a lot. I'm thinking she might need a pedal extender. Any ideas or has some one designed a cheap but safe way to raise gas pedal?

when I was considerably younger maybe 10-12 years old, and too small to throw hay into/onto the truck/trailer - I was able to see over the dash of the farm truck, but too short to reach the pedals well - we strapped a couple of hunks of 2x4 and secured them w/something (probably duct tape) but you could do something much safer/secure with large, industrial sized zip-ties

2x4 with long, self-tapping screws. Or drill holes and use bolts.

I'm sure the OP found a solution, since this thread is 7 months old, but for those interested, I saw this a minute ago.

Uses a door stop.
