How long after that last coat is optimal?

Looks good. Did you also dip your fenders, mirror and ant?

Didn't do the mirrors or fenders.

Just did my hinges, took them off kept the bolts yellow, glued a toothpick to a dime to cover the bolt holes (if you don't the plasti will twist in and peel up). About 30 seconds after each coat I removed the dimes.

The dipyourcar guys recommend to peel the masking while its still wet. You have to do a heavier coat and maybe more likely to have the dip come out textured. I have also seen some people that use vasoline ask a mask. Basically you would mask what you do want to dip, smear vasoline around the edges and pull the tape off. The dip wont bond to it and can be wiped off after. I've been wanting to try this but haven't had a chance yet.

cops will love you because you will give them a perfect reason to pull you over to check you out.

Might as well put a 50 cal ammo can as your center console, a hand grenade shifter knob and a 50 cal casing on your 4wd shifter.

I grew up around small towns where local cops would follow you (if you were out late at night) and pull you over for the slightest BS reasons. Example... "dust on your licence plate"

I feel like this is a stupid question.... Do the doors have to come off to get the hinges off? Or can you do one hinge at a time with the doors on?

I have one hing off a bit and my back pays when I fight the door off. I would pencil around hinge, remove door, remove hinge.

It is an absolute nightmare to get off if it's thin.

When I did my wheels I didn't do it heavy enough. Took me 45 minutes to get it off my spare. Decided there had to be a better way and came across someone that used WD-40 and a pressure washer.

Let the WD-40 sit for a minute or two then just blast it off. Works great!
