Also is this stuff really that easy to peel off if you don't like how it turns out?
I took the wheels off but masked off the hinges, keyholes and badge. The taping takes the longest time. Make sure everything you want to dip is cleaned real good before also. Nothing extreme I used one of those Mr. Clean magic erasers and some water. And yes it will just peel off. I messed up on the first two hinges (hesitated while spraying and it clumped up real ugly). I let it dry for about 15 minutes and took a dry spounge to it to get it started and it peeled right off.

A word of caution when you go to remove the tape. Let it dry real good and have a sharp knife with you. The Plastidip forms like a skin and when you start to pull the tape off if you're not careful it will pull off of what you painted also. work slow and be careful again the voice of experince here. One hinge started to pell off when removing the tape and trust me after all that work you will say dirty words!!

So far its stayed on without peeling or bubbling. Had plenty of rain also. Just did 2 coats so if you had more less likely it would peel.

So after a week the front bumper started to peel by the tow hooks. I will do two coats on the front see if it holds up longer. Fenders and rear bumper are still great.

I bought my jeep with these wheels on it. I have never been too happy with them. I was thinking of plasti-dipping the silver and replacing the center caps with flat black one (shown), but what color should i go with? Grey, White, Monster Green, Black? Are there any issues with that much detail work with plasti-dip?
