So I got a set of PSC bombshells in black powder coat. For paint i went to Lowes and got a can of Rust-oleum red oil based enamel paint and went to autozone for brake cleaner. First started by cleaning the diff covers using the brake cleaner and let them dry. Next used a fine point bristle brush to paint the Spyder outline. Found a q-tip extremely handy to wipe off the over paint by running it through the groove after you paint a section for a clean line! First coat is on and I anticipate to do two more followed by clear coat. More to follow after 24 hrs of drying!

That is very impressive! I didn't have the patience to paint mine and just wanted to get them on, so I left them all black. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=628464"/> <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=628465"/> Nice work!

Anyone know of a good clear coat/sealant to use on the painted covers?
I used multiple coats of the spray can stuff I bought but I'm getting a lot of small rock chips from the highway. Doesn't seem to be holding up very well on the front diff.

Looks good, really good.
I know want to order a set and do them in white to match my Jeep.
Anybody have any suggestions on the clear coat the OP is asking about? Curious as we what everybody used to keep them looking great.
