Sahara blackout build
I've wanted the blacked out look since the day I bought my new jeep. Here's a few pictures of what I've done so far. I started off with match tinting the front side windows. Next I removed the Sahara and unlimited decals from the sides. Then with the help of spray tint and plasti dip, I sprayed my marker lights, key holes, trail badge, antenna, and wheels.
At some point I would like a 2.5" lift, new wheels and 35s, but for now I got the look I was going for. Next up is cb, winch, and lockers.
I've also swapped out the side steps for rock rails, added 1.5" wheel spacers for a wider stance, and removed the silver sleeves from the bumpers.

Touché. I actually ordered a black jeep emblem since it was too much of a PITA to tape and I plan on ordering smoked LEDs for the back. Any idea how hard it is to take the headlight rings out? That will driver crazy now!

You don't bagful to totally tape off the jeep emblem. That's the magic of plastic dip. I did mine. It willnpeel off the paint around it and leave the emblem black on use a toothpick to peel it up in the ees and p.

The headlights are very easy. It takes a small torx bit. May have to remove grill. It's easy too. Pop the plastic screw things holding the top up with a screwdriver, then the bottom is held by a few clips. They're attached to the grill. Grab the grill and give it a real good pull. Though you may not have to remove the bottom clips to get to the headlight rings. The emblem will come off easier if you heat it up with a heat gun or blow dryer.
