So I attemtped to...
Bedline my stock Infinity sub enclosure yesterday. I felt like I had done a pretty good job prepping the surface and all, but after two pretty decent coats of Dupli-Color bed armor the shit peeled off after it dried and pooled up in certain areas and then I was right back to square one. Not really sure what I did wrong but if anyone can offer some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have little experience with the Duplicolor brand, and I have noticed a bit of peeling with it as well (on a metal surface).
I've used Rustoleum in the past with no complaints.
Yeah I bedlined the plastic directly, but sanded the surface before I sprayed. I was so pissed when I looked at the pool of bed armor and while trying to fix the pool I noticed it all peeled right off.
You are going to want to use a plastic primer, you also want to wash the plastic with soap to remove any oils, sanding is also a good idea, then you want to make sure your primer is compatible with the bed liner.
Check the can of the duplicolor BL and see what it advises for applications, it is a bed liner for trucks (painted metal) so it may not want to naturally stick to plastic. It should stick to a coat of primer. And a plastic primer should stick to your sub.
Good luck - post some photos of the finished product!
As Nox said... reprep the sub (peel off the defective liner, sand a bit, wash it up and prime it). The duplicolor should stick, I know a lot of people have used it on multiple applications, but from what I've seen it goes on a bit thicker than other brands and can pool a bit more.... take your time on the coats and give it a bit of distance as you do them.
