Seat replacement, non side airbag with side airbag
 

I have a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited with cloth, non-airbag heated seats and I am replacing them with leather, airbag heated seats. The seats are from the same make/model as my Wrangler.

Is the installation plug and go or do I need to do something else for the airbag system to work?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I have non-airbag model seats. I've had the entire interior disassembled when I raptor-lined my tub. There were no additional non-used wiring harnesses under the seats or anything, so I'm guessing this is not going to be a simple plug and play type thing to gain the functionality of that airbag.
