Tire pressure
I am new to the jeep world. I have a jeep wrangler sport with a a 2" lift and LT285/70 R17 tires. What psi should I be using to get the best gas mileage and wear on my tires. The sticker on my door says 35 psi but that is with the standard tires which these are not.

2 door, 4 door? Heavily modded, or stock weight? Hard top or soft?
What weight rating are the tires: C, D, or E? What width wheels are you running?
Too many factors to just throw out a number.
Best way to figure it out is run a chalk test (google/YouTube will show you how). Your answer will likely end up at something lower than 35. (Chalk test will yield you a range to stay in, pick what feels best. If gas mileage is your concern, stay nearer the higher pressure that still gives you even wear, but not the max as that will likely still wear out the centers of your tires faster).
I run 27 in mine, but they are 315/70r17s D rated on a 8.5 in wide wheel, and that is a totally different animal. And my Jeep likely doesn't weigh the same as yours.
As a general rule I would think 28-32 should be ok, but I've never had that size of tire, and don't know your Jeep, so I am just guessing.

Yup, there is no perfect answer here, it all varies from jeep to jeep based on mods and weight. It's also a can't-have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too thing. Lower PSI gonna improve tire wear and provide a nicer ride, but is also going to create more drag and lower fuel economy. Just part of owning a Jeep with larger tires.
