Default Upgrade question??

Ok, iam ready to upgrade my JK to next level, but there is so many options in parts that i'm going to ask for you all opinions.
_ my JK is a daily drive. i go off roading few times a year, i'm looking for a 3 to 4 inch lift, some 35x12.50x17 mud terrain tires and some new black alloy wheels. and i am trying to keep all this between 2500 to 3000 bucks range, my question are?

*which lift kit is a good choise, good value, and good quality?(teraflex, pro comp, rusty's offroad, etc)
* what high would it be better 3", 4" or in between?
*i don't do much rock crawling, so short arms, long arms, or keep the stock arms?
*if i get a basic kit (front and rear coil springs, shocks, sway bar links, and brake lines) do i need to get anything else, since i am installing it my self?
*which tire?( michey thompson mtz, dick cepek, nitto, etc)
*would this tire size fit my original wheels? or better of with new wheels?

P.S. i have a week to decide and order everything.

I am far from an expert, but I'll chime in with what I know...if you're going with 35s and plan to keep your stock wheels, you will need spacers.

If your budget is around $2500, you may be better off looking at something like a 2.5 in coil lift. It will let you fit 35s, the lift itself is cheaper, and you have less chance of driveshaft issues that you may get with a 4 inch lift.

The teraflex kit is very popular and there are tons of pics on this forum of them with 35s.

Personal opinion. The kind of wheeling we do a BB is fine. Get some good shocks instead of the adaptors. Get whatever rims you like, don't waste your money on spacers unless you really like the stock rims.

if you do a 4" you are going to have to also change out your drive shaft. just keep that in mind

With a $2500 budget, tires are going to eat $1500 of it for 35s. That does not leave much for other things. I bought a ProComp 4" for $630. It is a great kit by itself but does not come with any new bars or arms. You can get an adj track bar for the front and rear for another $300 so you can recenter your axles and not use any cam bolts. That leaves $100 bucks to put twords the spacers to use your stock rims. Just one scenerio if you are set on a coil lift and 35s

I started to upgrade my Jeep several years back, first lift was the OME with the HD coils along with adjustable track bars, front and rear shrockworks bumpers. all in all I have a good ride. changed to coast drive shafts, long travel shocks. best advice for just building your rig. check out write ups on the forum, lots of guys like myself started before some of the companys out there had equipment for the JK's, as there many more choices for your rig. research, research research, ya get the point.
