my first "how to" ...Door hinge bushing install

If your Jk is coming up on 10 years old, this might be something that needs you attention. The stock ones on mine were pretty pathetic....:gak: so I put in some new ones from Offroad Elements (a supporter on this forum). They give you a great price if you are a member here too.

Just have to say, the doors for now don't swing in the breeze, they are tight, and smooth... and no rattles at all!

As far as the video goes, well... this is my first "how too".... I hope it helps someone!

The Delrin bushings are phenomenal. I've got a set in my JK and TJ. It makes the doors buttery smooth again and even with mine being a 2010, the doors still needed the attention.

Another benefit is that the doors come off even easier now, there's not as much of a tussle with them. Again- like it's brand new all over again.

Nice job, Sunny. It's not easy doing a video and you did an excellent job.

I put these on my JK this year. My doors go on and off like butter. A lot easier than yours did. I am wondering if you didn't clean off the hinge pins enough.

I sanded them till they were starting to show silver... but I must say, they didn't fall into place, it was more of a working them down... the thought occurred to me that the one door might have bent pins? But they all loosened up and seem to be fine. Maybe it was the grease too thick? Anyway... they seem fine now!

My '14 already needs some hinge work thanks to living in Road salt central, I have a feeling this will be on my project list for the spring time. Thanks for the video
