Hey there, I’m new to this forum and was reading about the seat swap you did on your JK. I take care of multiple RHD mail JKs, and they don’t have a passenger seat. I am very interested in finding out more about the emulator and the company that makes them. I appreciated your post you were very thorough. Thanks, Jesse.

Looking for help regarding the emulator in your seat post. My email is mabennett93@live.com I’m trying to finish the install of my PRP seats and need to have no lights on the dash for inspection purposes. Thanks!!

    Hi,

I have a 2007 JK 2Dr that I swapped my OEM seats for Corbeau Moabs, I kept the factory seatbelts for now so that's not an issue. The issue is the passenger seat had 4 occupancy sensors that are causing my airbag light to stay on meaning no airbag for passengers. I bought some resistors kits online but they don't tell me which 2 of the 3 wires on each connector I should tap into in order to effectively bypass the seat occupancy sensors. Any advice you can share with me would be so appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Randy

Oh, um, my jeep originated in your neck of the woods, in Canada. If that is pertinent. Some things on this jeep are distinctly different from US sourced jeeps of the same year....

Hey, Neville. I have a 2015 Jeep JKU, and have recently swapped out front seats. I have an airbag light on the dash (duh!). I relocated the seat harnesses to the new seats and have found a home for all but the occupancy sensors. I read through your write-up (very nice) and I think that I need a passenger sensor emulator, like the ones that you had made. If I can be so bold, would you tell me who did the creation of the emulators in your setup?

    Thanks in advance...

btw, we live in Southeast Idaho, and have in the past gone up to BC for various adventures. If the border remains open (and you have a good snow year) we will probably go up to ski this winter. That's a lot of ifs, but I would like to buy you a beer or two for your trouble!

    Hi Neville,
    thanks for the friendly welcome.

I took a look at some of your post pictures. Your jeep looks great!
Mine is basically stock, so I doubt I have much to add to the conversation, but I'd love to accept your offer to get together and compare notes over a beverage.

Question. Do you find the manual transmission is a help or hindrance when you're crawling?

    Cheers,
    Dave
