good morning resharp, saw you hail from Texas, have you been to the Blackwater Draw OHV area down by Lubbock or the Big Bend Ranch State Park? Not being terrible far from our home was thinking of making the trip but do not know much of that area.

And now when I purposely hit railroad tracks or something like that I can feel it trying to wobble.. Will only wobble between 35-45 mph.. I just did Planman's tests again and I can't find a thing wrong. everything still feels solid and no play in anything.. I re-greased all the fittings again (only been 3 months but whatever).. Racking my brain what else could be wrong... maybe shocks? or control arms! most ppl say those don't cause side to side wabble.. scratching my head..

I replaced 1 item at a time over the course of 2 weeks.. after each repair the DW remained, until the last.. The Ball Joints.. I couldn't tell how bad they were until I got em off.. HOLY crap... the bottoms were toast... just rattling around with metal powder falling out.. I replaced them with grease-able ones.. Not sure what brands on any of the parts (My Mechanic buddy gets the parts delivered to his shop, and I go there and do the work myself) So after the ball joints it was GONE... I couldn't get it wobble no matter what I hit.. And so it was for the past 3 months.. and then a few days ago.. BAM... I hit a couple small pot holes one after the other and it's back..

Hey Resharp, thanks for responding... So yeah I bought the Jeep just 4 months ago from a Dealership in Carollton (Earth Motorcars).. It need some paint so I got a good deal.. 07 4dr JK 123,000mi. paid $12,500. Strangely when I test drove it and had my mechanic (friend) do a look over, we didn't find a thing, however I really didn't know what DEATH wobble was or to look for signs of it.. Got it painted right away and after a week of driving had my 1st occurrence of DW.. I thought the jeep was going to disintegrate!!! Sure enough I found all the youtube posts about it and did Planman's checks and found: Bad stabilizer (no resistance at all), bad end on Draglink (popping at joint when turned), Bad Tie Rod end (popping up and down), bad Hub (moving side to side when tested), and finally Bad Ball joints (play up and down).. The usual culprit (Track Bar) is good... No play side to side at all.. But I went ahead and did the Bolt swap just to be safe..
