Anybody hear from Mark? I know he lives in the MWC area, but not sure where in relationship to the fires.

It was sad seeing all those houses in eastern OKC go up in flames. Hope you all made it out alright. Luckily there were no fires around Altus.

Hey, just caught whiff of this thread. Yeah, my housing addition (Windsong) was one of the ones mentioned in the news. You can imagine my horror as I'm sitting at the Moab KOA reading that homeowner's in Windsong are being asked to evacuate because of the fire. In the end it passed about 2-300 yards south of my house, at the very edge of our addition. The fire chief at Tinker AFB is a personal friend, and he said when they were asked to help he jumped at the chance, partly because he knew my house was there. Anyway, ultimately Jeff (TORN) and I decided to depart a day early from Moab so that I could get back home. I have several friends who lost their homes in the next addition to the east: Oakwood East.

Thanks, everyone, for asking and expressing concern.
