Been thinking about tryin to make the trip from Bossier/Shreveport, but I will be in NM the weekend before for the Bataan Memorial Death March, so I may not be able to swing two trips back to back like that.

I'll let ya know, maybe we can link up in TX somewhere.

I haven't decided what day we'll leave from here yet. My resevations in Moab are March 30-April 3rd. I'm thinkin we'll leave out the morning of the 27th and stay at a couple different hotels along the way.

I-40 feels like you're on the train. Expansion joints all heaved. Thump... thump... thump to infinity. First time was in a suburban towing a YJ on a trailer. Second was in my CJ. Drove it to the 4-corners, a week in the mountains, and then drove her back to AL. Went straight to therapy

How many Jeeps can a car carrier haul? I'm sure there are enough local Jeeps to book a carrier and not have to worry about driving and/or trailering. You could then fly roundtrip and meet up with your prized possession half way across the country! Food for thought.
