Personally I don't like BFG tires, I don't think they are all that great off road. The Duratrac is one of the best tires you can buy. I said cheap shocks because of your budget. You could also just run shock extensions with the factory shocks but would be limited to 8" of travel.

Thanks for the tips! Ended up with a teraflex 2.5 BB on Goodyear Duratracs 315/70/17
Very happy!
