Default $99 Winch Plate for OEM Bumper

I have finally found an inexpensive winch mount that can be used with the Factory bumper on a JK. Before I order it I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this or has installed it.....

- They state it will not interfere with factory tow hooks
- They state it will bolt right up with no fabrication or modifications
- All bolts and mounting hardware is included
- Drilled for common medium and large winches

I am a little concerned from the pictures as it appears to only be held on by two bolts - it may just be the angle of the pictures!

I found it on ebay through Jack Mikol Automotive - do a search for " Heavy Duty Winch Mounting Plate 07-08 Jeep Wrangler " and it should come up.

I specifically asked if it will bolt up to a stock bumper and they responded yes!

More to come....

Looks like it bolts on the inside of the frame rails on each side via the 4 inner bumper bolts, so it mounts with 6 total bolts. I've been looking for this type of setup, though the universal mounts can be mounted upside down to hide the winch...

Looks like somebody finally made an affordable winch plate for the JK! I would have used that one for sure! Here is link to my write up about using a TJ plate.........https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/%2470-winch-plate-install-pictorial-52173/

This is interesting, but the pictures in the auction are all with a non-stock bumper?

Yes, please take pics when you get it installed. I like the looks and construction of the Rough Country stock mount but man it's $$$$.

I did call and verify that it wil mount up to a factory bumper with no problems. They claim it will not interfer with the factory tow hooks either.

I have ordered it and will do a write-up on it when it arrives.
