That looks like you have about a 4in lift with 32's and you're getting rub?

That must be factory length control arms, the tire looks very close to the front of the wheel well. Recentering the axle helps a lot. This is 35"s and 2.5" lift no trimming but with adjustable arms.

This. I'm running 35's and Metalcloak adjustable arms, no rubbing at all. You will want to change the arms or trim the rails to avoid any contact.

Have you considered finding a local metal shop and having them fabricate the exact type of steps you would want? They can use your current ruby rails as a base and bend the tube steel exactly how you want it. Then have them powder coated or better yet Line-Xd

I'm lucky that I "know a guy" so I'm not sure what they would charge you but I would consider investigating at least.

The wife's jeep with leveling kit & 33's.
I installed the rock rails & then added the steps, steps are removable.

I went a similar route- ordered the poison spyder diy tube for the CJ/ LJ to fit on my JK. It is very similar to the hard rock rails but I hardly consider the rubi rails a good base for a step. They're bolted to some pretty thin sheet metal, albeit in multiple spots. Mine are more aesthetic and protection from door dings than actual steps. They're also a good foot rest in the summer.

Its a 4 inch Teraflex lift with all 8 flex arms that gave me 5 inches total and those are 35s. And it hasn't rubbed since i moved the rear axle back 3/4 of an inch. I assumed everyone would know they were 35s considering the question from the OP was about the stock hard rock rail and 35s.

I had wanted the same enhanced mopar rails to replace my standard rubi rails and decided against them for the same reasons. I ended up with the Rock Hard rails which are very similar but stick out a little farther and shorter overall length. Pics from their website:

I'm runing them with 37's on my JKUR and no issues...

I currently have the stock Sahara step rails (ie plastic) and already purchased a set of Rubicon rock rails which I haven't put on but can be trimmed down. I'm thinking I might need a step, so that's why I'm now considering the 10A Rock rails instead of putting on the Rubicon rails.
Does anyone know if the Hard Rock rails are longer than the Rubicon/Willy's?? I just want that little bit of a step to get on top of roof to wipe down after washing.

You have to trim them (rear) if you plan on running 35 or larger. Just save the end caps and slap them back on. Looks factory still. No big deal.
