1310 or 1350

Anyone running Tom woods DS, looking to replace my front DS of my 2011 2 door Sahara, I have a 2.5 RK flex system and 34" tires 3.73 stock gears. My boot is starting to sling grease. Idk whether to get the 1310 or 1350? I don't crawl mainly use my jeep for DD and mudding at the camp. Any of you guys running Tom woods and what series? Thanks!! :-)

I run a 1310 up front on my d44 with 37s. I suggest you do the same especially on a d30. You want that ujoint to go before your gears.

Thanks, I called and they recommend the 1350... But I don't think I need that one. Wanted to get you guys opinions 1st.

Oh and this was Tom woods, what other brands are you guys running? Is this the best?

I'm running a Tatton 1310 front driveshaft with 5.13 gears and heavy 37's. Done a lot of crawling with no issues.

One thing to be aware of is greasing the centering ball Zerk on the dc joint is a real pain in the arse on these aftermarket shafts. You have to pull the shaft to grease this one zerk and it needs to be done like every 3-4k miles. If you DD try to find one that doesn't need greasing there, if it's possible. Dont know if there is such an animal.

I just received my front 1310 from Adams driveshaft. I researched many options but a 10 minute phonecall with Kevin at Adams made up my mind. I gave him a measurement late on friday, he built it over the weekend and shipped on monday. They offer a flange or yoke option, as well as greasable or non-greasble spicer u joints and can explain the pros and cons of each. Use the money u save for the next mod. My savings helped pay for an Extreme Terrain barricade rear bumper/tire carrier that i highly recommend a well

Their number is 701-568-5680. Ask for Kevin

For a front shaft only I would run a 1310.

I run 1310s front and rear with 37s. Lots of people say 1310 with good joints is more than enough for both.
