This is my jeep with 15' wheels along with Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 33x12.50x15 tires. The wheels are Pacers, 15x8 with -13mm offset which is just slightly under 4 inches of backspacing. They work great and I did not have any grinding to install them.

Default 15" question

After seeing that a 15" wheel will fit on my JK my question would it be would it be easier to find 15x8's (which is pretty hard to do with the 5 on 5 bolt pattern) or just go with wheel spacers and change my bolt pattern? Thanks for all your help guys.

it's not hard to find them...any discount tire can get them. BTW the unique type 97 that I tried on at discount yesterday rubbed the calipers. Rubbed where the "o" are stamped out. Not really the welds.
BTW there are two spacers at Pep Boys a 5 AND 6 lug 1/4 and a 5 lug 5//16's. The 5/6's don't work...i tried, however the 5 lug works.

Just order these-

Or do like I did and print it out and bring it to your local tire store. Then say I want these wheels.

Ok, I ordered the Tires in Dec 07, the wheels in Jan 08, and now I am home on leave, I got them married together. I was worried the 15" Crager Soft 8's would catch on the roaters, I even bought a grinder to fix this. I eased them on and WHAM, no grind, no rub, very happy TEXASREDROCK

With 15's, you need to run 3.75" backspacing to keep away from the caliper. If you are looking into them, I will give you all five of my 15" wheels nad 33x12.5 BFT AT's for 75 bucks each...only 6000 miles on them. Seriously, I will, I'm going with bigget tires/wheels, and I don't want these practically new tires I have now lying around my house.

But yeah, I run 15" wheels but with 3.75" backspacing. They're black D window Rock Crawler series. So the JK can fit them, you just need the proper backspacing.

I already have 33x12.5x15 tires, I want to get cragar D Window wheels 15x8 with a 4.0 BS. Will this setup work? If not instead on griding the caliper cant I just put on some wheel spacers ?
