oh yeah?

I thought 8'' wide rim was too narrow for a 12.5'' wide tire...

Am I wrong?

what do you guys think?

nope, not too narrow at all and actually what i would recommend as it will help keep your tire from busting a bead when aired down on the trail.

ok thanls for the comment.

But what about highway drivin? Would a 12.5 tire on a 10'' rim would be more stable that a 12.5'' on a 8''?

Also, would the tires wear better (even) on a 10'' wide rim?

so long as you inflate your tires to an appropriate psi that will allow you to have a flat footprint, they will wear exactly the same. as far as stability goes, an 8" wide wheel will not effect this.
