Default 2.5 Inch Terraflex BB Question.

Do I need to buy new shocks when I install the BB? I'm planning on following the Write up.

Get the BB with the shock adapters.

Or the shocks that come with the 2.5" kit.

They have a ton of different kits and options, just find the one that works for you...

They have different BB Terraflex Budget boost kits? I will look into that thanks. My dealer said they had no problems with lift as long as it was terraflex.

If you are going to add a winch, go with springs not the BB. Been there done that. Stock Rubi springs would not support the winch. Good Luck!!

This shows several of the 2.5" BB options. (basic, w/adapters, w/shocks)
http://www.teraflex.biz/products/jk-...get-boost.html

And you can get the shock adapters alone

You can message the TeraFlex rep here on the site or go through northridge. Site sponsors will hook ya up

Don't have a rubi so I should go with a coil lift? I'm planning on an ARB bumper and winch.

Depends on the budget and how much weight you're going to add. A heavy bumper & winch will squish the stock coils, so if that is your plan, coils may be a better option.

The down-side is that coils generally give more lift than the stated amount, which means more components to bring you back to a stock-like ride. TF 2.5" coils are likely to give 3.5" on 2doors, which means you would want to add trackbar relo's or adjustables, brake line extensions, longer links, caster correction, possibly even a driveshaft. (TF is working on new coils specifically for 2doors that are supposed to give a more accurate lift height. Don't know if they are out yet)

Crap now I got to research all over again. I'm planning on spending at max 600 on a lift. I can go a little over if needed. I don't know if a 3-3.5 lift would look too bad on a 2dr with MudTerrain KM 255's I don't have choppd fenders. If I add a lift that size and a bumper such as ARB and a 10,000 pound winch would that bump it down to 2.5 inches? I'm only planning on going as big as 35's for tires. But I would prefer running 33's with a balanced look. It's gonna take me some time before I can save up some money for the bumper and winch.
Is three inches enough with a bumper and winch on 33's?
