That is great!

That is about the stance i want mine to eventually have, i think it looks just right :yup:

Thanks Happy!
I couldn't be more pleased. I cannot get over the ride quality compared to my TJ I traded in. 80 MPH (on speedo, so I was probably doing more like 90+) down the interstate and she goes straight as an arrow. The lift does so little to modify the factory suspension and geometry. My alignment was still dead on, after the lift. The only thing off was the center steer. My buddy owns a tire shop and I drove it onto the rack and stood there next to him when we hooked everything up, he was even impressed. This is the best of both worlds; factory ride and 34" tires. Looks great, rides great, I am very pleased with the MTR's etc. I highly recommend this set-up.

Cant tell for sure in your pictures, but do you feel the rake is out of the stance, and now level? How much larger were teh front spacers than the rear spacers. thanks

Looks good but we need more pics with a real camera! I was thinking of going with this exact setup or OME's when they finally come out with something. Are you using the stock shocks w/ the relocation brackets or the teraflex ones. Its nice to hear its rides well.

07RubiJK 01-31-2007 10:11 AM

I have the stock shocks with the extensions. The front ones are actually very simple and the rears took a little longer to get lined up, but also worked well.
As far as the rake, the front spacers are a little longer, not much, so there is still some rake, but it does not seem to be as noticable. I don't mind a little, but 3/4 inch spacers up front would level it out, if that is what you are looking for.
I know I need to get better pics, and if I ever get caught up, I'll do that. Just can't seem to get my head above water enough to get to it!
If this is the stance and height you are looking for, I do not think you would be disappointed, not to mention, you can get into this set-up at a very reasonable price. I have $425 in the lift and wheel spacers, and $600 difference in the tires (my buddy bought mine for $400 and new MTR's were $1050 for all 4, mounted and balanced). I had $1600 in my TJ RE 4.5" Superflex alone!
Thanks for all the comments!

it now looks like a true rubicon. I though the rubicons from the factory looked kinda squatty, but now it looks like an awsome rig.

GREAT JOB!!!!:D

JEEP-PILOT 01-31-2007 06:08 PM

what is the width of the rubicon 17in wheel? i have the optional 17in wheel on the x and was wondering if the same size tire would fit. thanks

07RubiJK 01-31-2007 06:17 PM

17 x 7.5. They should fit fine on your rims as well.

JeeperTJ 01-31-2007 06:41 PM

Nice stance. What was the stock tire size of the BFG's that came on the Rubicon ? Are you holding on to yours? Thanks, Ted
