Default 2" Spacer Lift, Replacement Shocks not needed?

I have a 2" spacer lift that I'm having installed today and it says that replacement shocks aren't necessary. The shop doing the work says that they are.

Does this sound right?

I have an 08 Rubicon

Thanks in advance.

You wont get any extra flex, but yea you dont really NEED them.
I did the same thing with my leveling kit...no shocks.

My RC BB came with the relocation brackets. Without atleast relocation brackets, your shocks then limit the amount of flex because they will be maxing out. However, if/when you decide to do the relocation brackets or shocks, make sure you do the right brake line extension brackets to accomidate for the extended travel you will now achieve...otherwise under max flex, you will be binding up the brake lines. Just an FYI

most things are never as easy as it would seem

sometimes its best to save for the coil kits
they usually have everything you will need
