Default 2012 bumper install - may be a silly question

as i look at different front and rear bumpers online i'm noticing that many say 07-11. is there any difference with what's behind the factory bumpers as far as holes and mounting hardware?

i guess what i'm wondering is whether or not a bumper that will fit on a 07-11 JK fit the same way on a '12?
thanks in advance

They will fit, but first you have to relocate the vacuum pump behind the stock bumper.

the reason the bumpers dont fit on the 2012 is that they have a vacuum pump located in the bumper area. So thats why the bumpers are diffrent for 2007-2011

I believe the holes and mounting hardware are the same. However, the 2012's have a vacuum assist pump mounted just behind the bumper on the frame railing. Some bumpers will require that you relocate the pump. There are a couple of different manufacturers that can provide the relocate kit.

I bought the poison spyder brawler lite and did not have to move my pump. Hope that helps.
