Default 2012 lift kit question

I know with the 2012 models there are some things you have to do when putting on a lift kit. I know you'd have to use an exhaust spacer. Is there anything else? And is this for all lift heights or just 3 inches and up?

That's really not true I have a 2012 jkur and put the rk 3.5" max travel and I didn't do any exhaust mods the only thing you will need is a new driveshaft but that's later on in the future. I'm running my stock shaft and it's fine.

I put in a 4 inch lift (2012 JKU) and it lifted the front 5.5 inches and I have no problems with exhaust. I did put in a Coast drive shaft but that was because of angle on that joint with the rubber boot around it that I didn’t like and not because it was too close to the cross over pipe.

just installed a 2" BB & there's PLENTY of clearence between driveshaft & exhaust

I believe the only consirn on this issue is when you disconnect while offroading then you may have an issue MAYBE ?????????

that's on anything over 2.5 of lift from what I understand

My 2.5" TF coil lift did have exhaust issues. It was hitting the drive shft. Easy fix with the spacers. 2012 JKU Rubicon.
