Default 2012 Rubicon, teraflex leveling kit questions

I've never attempted anything along the lines of a life/leveling kit before but I'm fairly mechanically inclined. I appreciate any advice. I found some good info here: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/stoc...-230310/page2/

To be honest, I'm not looking for significant lift, just want to level the jeep out a bit. I thought about going with a 2.5 coil, but I'll maybe move up to that later. I plan to keep the stock tires until they need to be replaced.

I have a few more questions though:

- Several folks mentioned needing high floor stands, can anyone reccomend a specific model or size that works well?

- Any recomendations on a floor jack?

- Beyond a set of sockets and a torque wrench, is there anything else I need?

- If I keep my stock wheels and BFG/MTs, do I need to add spacers? Should/could I?

Thank you for any info. This forum is a great resource and continues to expedite the separation of cash from my wallet.

cheers,
David

I can't answer all of your questions as I swapped my wheels and tires at the same time as I did the leveling kit install but in terms of tools, you will need a good set of wrenches as well, at least a 19mm for the sway bar end links.

I installed the Teraflex Performance coil spring leveling kit and it turned out great! Install was honestly really easy, just make sure to disconnect the brake line hangers before dropping the axles.

I used basic 3 ton jack stands with a floor jack and had no issues.

If you want a pic of the end result, let me know.

I used a standard hydrolic rolling jack and purchased 4 12 inch paving stones from home depot to place under my jack stands (2 on each side) to increase the height. Installation is straight forward.

Sockets and wrenches up to 21mm are needed along with a jack and jack stands. It was a pretty simple install, just take your time and double check everything when you're done.
