LOL...Not a lot of rock trails in PA. I'm envious you get to do so. I see more mud than rocks.

You need to to get out more. Rausch Creek is nothing but rocks, from mild to wild. One of the best parks in the east. AOAA is also in PA and has some pretty legit stuff. When I hear PA wheeling, I think rocks.

Yeah.....going to Rausch Creek this weekend. It's fun. But not a totally "natural" trails like the ones we typically ride in the mountains near home. And,,, It's a 2 hr ride to get there. Just something bothers me when say,,,,"outdoor park". Sort of like going to Disney World. But...I go. Very infrequently. Way more fun to go to our cabin in Centre Co and ride the trails around it like the one in the pic and then come back to camp for a cookout / party. To each their own.

That's pretty much what we're going for: a smooth, deep sound without drone or rasp. The tone tends to be consistent through the rev range, but the volume isn't much more than stock at idle and cruise. When you romp on the gas, you'll get that grin-inducing growl to it.

The 2-door equivalent to your cat-back system is the 15236, as well. The OP had mentioned dual pipes, which we don't actually offer as a cat-back, but we do have dual-exist axle-backs in polished stainless (15178) or in matte black (15160). And in fact, you can see everything we make for the 2013 JK right here on our site.

If you want better throttle response, get a Sprintbooster.

No exhaust will give better throttle response on an otherwise stock JK

From what they say about their Sprint Booster:
"The idle-to-full-throttle pedal travel is reduced.... a given pedal input produces greater throttle opening."

"Makes the throttle more sensitive and makes the car 'feel' faster."

"Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times."
So, all it does is shorten the pedal travel between zero and full throttle.
How much time does it take to kick the pedal to the floor? -- 0.3 Second at the most. From that, the Sprint Booster cuts off 25%, 0.075 sec. That's meaningless.

You may feel it, but it does nothing real, as it does NOT reduce the 0-60mph time. So, that's $290 spent on an illusion.

Offroad, when the Jeep jumps and sways, and maximum throttle feel is needed, the shorter throttle throw makes it harder to accurately control the engine rpm.

One thing to remember with the JK is that the throttle is drive by wire. There is no physical connection between pushing the pedal down and the engine revving higher. The computer controls the throttle response based on the programmed tune, and it only adjusts based on the sensor inputs (such as the gas pedal position sensor). Changing the exhaust is only an aesthetic change. Reducing the back pressure will actually result in a performance loss, so it is important to use a proper exhaust on a modern car.

.......... and the Sprint Booster makes the computer "think" that the pedal traveled more than it actually did. When pressed 1", the computer reacts as if pressed more than 1", and controls the engine to accelerate accordingly.
When driving, we press the pedal according to the acceleration we want. This means that with the Sprint Booster we'll adapt to press the pedal a bit less for any acceleration we want...
Again, as the 0 to 60 time doesn't change, the Sprint Booster is nothing but an expensive illusion.

Default Here's THAT sound ... :(

Well, here's the sound of my JK. Ok, I always had V8 (once a v6 s-10) but the JK sounds like a bee. Yours (factory) sounds the same ??

So, back to the exhaust options : Dual exhaust (Atak or "classic") Borla, Gibson, Dynomax ....

About the Atak, do someone has it ?

Tanks !

Dual exhaust tips do not necessarily sound better.
IMO, Such large tips down there don't look right on a Jeep -- it's the opposite of 'Form follows function'.

Not high quality recordings, sounds better in real life:

Jeep JK Wrangler Magnaflow Exhaust Review Part 2

The Magnaflow # 15237, over the axle cat-back, sounds better on my Jeep than the video clips.
