2016 Unlimited springs on a 2012 Spor
So I have been gather some take off parts people have been selling after they upgrade. I purchased a new set of 2016 unlimited wheels with 255/70/ r18 tires. I also purchase a suspension set from an unlimited front spring compression is 17 and rear is 59. My stock front spring is 14 and I think the rear is 56.
From what I have read this should give me a 1 inch lift...right? Will I need any modifications placing the unlimited springs and struts on my jeep? Any brake line modification, of extension brackets needed or is it a direct swap?

I did this same swap on my '11 before I got my current lift.
I got longer front sway bar links (quick disconnects) and brake line drop brackets to go with the springs (and Rubi shocks)
I also ran a 3/4" coil spacer in the front to level it out.
None of these are life and death, but it made it much better for off road use.

How much of a lift did you get once the springs settled in? Would the stock front swaybar links reach after you put in the new springs?

The rear went up just about an even 2 inches with a #18 spring (stock #55)
Here is a picture of it back then.
The sway bar links will reach, but the sway bar angle points down a few degrees more than it should.
I hope this helps.

That is my current setup. So if I use my 17/58 setup I should gain 2.5 inches? I am also gonna purchase rough country adjustable track bar, rough country adjustable lower control arms, the 3/4 spacer for the front and strut extension brackets. Will I need any spacers for the rear to have everything leveled out?

Adjustable front lower control arms are a good idea to get the correct caster back in the front.
I still haven't done anything with the track bars yet. Even at 3 inches of lift, they are only off center about a 1/4 inch.
I don't think you will need a coil spacer it the rear, but you will need to re-locate your brake line frame brackets.

Well lets see how this goes. I purchased a JKS trackbar, synergy 3/4 front spacers and rough country adjustable LCAs. Gonna do the spring swap and then align and hopefully everything runs smooth afterwards
