Her are some pics of some stock 18 that look good powder coated black with 35 inch Toyo MT
trust me I know all about what your saying. our "shop" jeep is a 06 Unlimited Rubi with 37's and 20's, while I keep trying to get the the 20's changed out it's not the worst looking thing, but it is good for buisness...

Yeah, 20s look good on 37s, but 22 is pushing it IMHO

Neato, I like what you guys do.
Keep it up Evolution

I might have to agree with some of the other guys, too much bling for practicality, but good for show

22's are just too big for such a small rig like the JK, even the Unlimited. 22's really need a fullsize truck/SUV to look right IMHO. We had 22's on our Denali XL and they were sweet, but it went with the whole "baller whip" look we had going on with that vehicle. That 22/37 combo would look good under an crewcab F250 or Megacab with a 6" lift though.

Those powdercoated 18's are SWEET though.

Since this is a 'showcase' for your shop I would say leave it or better yet, put a 6" Teraflex system on it and throw some 39-40" tires on those 22"s. That will make them look better. I think the 22" is a bit much for a 37" tire. Either way, the jeep will serve its purpose, bringing in more customers. Here is my thoughts on tire vs. wheels size.

22" wheel - 38" tire or bigger
20" wheel - 37" tire
18" wheel - 35" or possilby 33"
17" wheel - 32"-34"
16" wheel - 31"
15" wheel - 30" or smaller

Just my opinion...

Any more pictures of the Saraha with the powdercoated wheels? I have almost that exact set up less the powdercoating and would like to see more. What's your shop charge for exchange of stock sahara 18"s for powdercoated ones?

In Phx, but out in Southern Cal all the time...

I'd do the 22's for my 150 mile commute to and from work and I'd change to 18's for wheelin. But what do i know?

Hey Mel,
I am interested in powder coating my stock Sahara wheels. They allready have deep scratches from wheelin. Is that a problem to get them powder coated?
