2wd lift (dont flame for the 2wd)

Has anyone lifted their 2wd unlimited? Bought a 2.5 bb spacer kit just trying to see if they are the same as 4wd. Looked on Tera flexes website only gives one kit. Also has anyone put 4wd unlimited springs on the 2wd unlimited ? Any lift help with them?

I'm sure if you put 4x4 springs on you will get a good bit of lift. Check your spring numbers. Spacer kit is the same I would imagine. Just spacers for the springs

Good question but any spacer kit should be able to help you out.

From all I heard the suspension comments are the same on both so they should be identical. Will the springs help that depends on spring numbers.

My numbers are

5212
6312ab

The 4wd are

5212
6316ab

Should I get the 4wd shocks too?

That's what I'm trying to figure out if the height and firmness are different on the springs and should I use the 4wd ones.

I know they get a little lift putting the unlimited one on the 2drs.

sorry i think my post was a little confusing.

i have a 2wd unlimited stock, bought a teraflex 2.5 bb spacers kit from a member. it comes with the spacers and shock extenders. i bought a set of tires from another member who had changed his oem springs out when he did his lift. he gave me his 4wd oem springs was just wonering if i should use them? any lift benefit or just stick with mine?

Look for a post titled "lets solve the stock spring question" in the stock forum. Look at the numbers on the tags on your springs and your friends springs. That should give you and idea if there is any difference. I think in the end you should stick with the BB.....although that will allow people to better see your missing front diff.....sorry, I had to.

Cheers

Sorry, I completely glanced over the post with your spring numbers, those are quite different.

If it was me I would wait on the 2012, not so much for the engine but for the 5 speed auto, if you are wanting an auto.
