Default 3/4" Spacers..

I got my mid with front bumper today. The shop that is installing it is recommending 3/4" spacers over the coils to bring the front end up again. Will this give me any issues with steering/alignment or the possibility of a torn driveshaft boot since I have an auto?

No, 3/4" spacers should not cause any problems at all. It will only help restore the height of the front prior to the bumper.

The spacers will only help restore the front end back to stock height. You would not actually end up with any lift per se.

Should not cause any issues. One could make a case that the sag is causing a negative geometry change.

Mine took a 2" nose dive after installing the bumper, winch, and lights. If you want to wait a week or so and measure it up to see how far it's going to drop. Then you can spacer it back to stock height.

Default leveling front end

Hi HB- Gary here, my X was 1 1/2'' low on the front with NO addons, I added Rubicon Express 1 3/4'' front spacers with the factory pads removed for a total of 1 1/2'' . This put my unlimited dead level. Anything below 2'' won't cause any alignment or shock issues on a stock suspension... A simple trouble-free mod!

Just installed a Daystar BB 1.75 on JK 2-Dr. After adding a winch and new bumper. When I finished And set Her on the ground. The front was 1" higher then the rear. I liked the look so much I didn't install the rear pucks.

I can tell no difference in the way it drives or handles. Also added a set of Teraflex disconnects You should be just fine.

I installed the daystar 1 3/4 BB in the front and the 3/4 in the rear. Drives great and did not change the steering at all either.

Hey Tinman, Do you have a picture of a side view of your Jeep with the 1.75 spacer lift?. I'm thinking of doing a spacer lift but just don't know how much is enough.

Now if you have a winch on that bumper, than there is more of a need for the 3/4" spacer. Like I said, the bumper only dropped my front end 1/4".

The spacers cost less than $50. How much are they charging for the labor?
They are quoting me $200 for the spacers. Saying its two hours worth of work and around four hours for the bumper.

They are blowing smoke up your ass! I did my bumper by myself and it only took and hour and a half to two hours and a good portion of that was removing the old bumper and winch install. Another hour to install the $30 3/4" spacers, also by myself.
I would find another shop or do it your self.
