Default 3.5 rk caster question

Hey all, I have a question regarding caster with my setup. I have a 2dr auto rubicon with the RK 3.5" x-factor midarm suspension. I also have Tatton front and rear driveshafts.

Tomorrow I'm planning on getting my rig on an alignment rack and getting everything to the proper specs. I'm currently experiencing slight vibration. So my question is, what should castor be set at to make a happy driveline while not affecting handling too much?

I've seen different recommendations ranging from 4-8*. I hear with aftermarket driveshafts 8 would be WAY too high because of negative pinion stressing the shafts. Just want to be in the proper range without risking anything.

Thanks for the help!

When I ran that kit I had mine set to 6 degrees on an angle finder which puts you around 5 in actuality.

I had mine set to 8 at one time with no ill effect of destructive ds vibes.

Your stock spec is 4.5. Bigger tires I would go for 5.5

Best thing to do IMHO is run the caster as deep as you can by setting the pinion perfectly level. That way you have the best of both worlds, no ds vibes, not too much stress and the deepest caster you can run.
Much thanks! So maybe tomorrow while its on the rack I should start around stock caster specs and adjust from there until there is no vibrations?? driveline vibes get me a bit nervous because of the risk of an exploding t-case! Lol

Anybody else before I head out to put it on the alignment rack?
