3 inch teraflex lift
i am thinking of getting a 3 inch teraflex lift for my jk and i was wanting to know if 36 13.50 irocs would fit with no rubbing or should i get the 4 inch. and if i do get the 4 inch what else am i going to need other than the kit and gears? drive shafts? please let me know
thanks |
They will probably rub. Driveshaft may depend on 2dr vs. 4 dr. Get the 4".

ok now what about the superlift 4inch how much better is the teraflex 4inch than it?
|
and its a 2 door

yeah the superlift is like half of the teraflex but if the super lift complete or do i need to order other things to complete it. the teraflex looks pretty much complete.but its like 2 grand on quadratec

Just so you know, TeraFlex lifts tend to be on the high side once installed. In other words, a 3" lift will sit closer to 4" but even at that, I would highly recommend going with a TeraFlex 4" to clear the tires that you want as it will sit closer to 5". The Superflex lift is a good lift but as you've noticed, it is vastly incomplete compared to the TeraFlex lift and if really do plan on going that high, you really need to get adjustable upper and lower control arms so that you can dial in your caster and set your rear pinion angle.

you can get the 4" without the controls but you wont be able to adjust anything very much and save for the control arms
