Default 3" Lift Question

I have a 2013 Unlimited Sahara. I just bought a 3 inch BDS lift and was wondering what I had to add to the kit to do it properly to avoid and driveline issues in the future. There is no control arms included. I purchased the upgraded steering stabilizer. Anyway around not replacing the driveshaft and still getting some longevity out of it? Its primarily a DD but I throw it off road every chance I get! Let me know guys!

Teraflex makes spaces for ur exhaust that makes it so ur drive shaft won't rub. That's what I did

The stock shaft will last if you use the spacers to keep the down shaft boot off the exhaust. I know some people have their upper boot tear but I ran one for 20k miles with no issues on a 2012 with a 3.5" lift. I sold that jeep and to my knowledge the boot is still fine. Just be prepared if it does fail.

Did you add a track bar or do control arms? What kit did you go with?

Yes. Adjustable front and rear track bars. Ran adjustable front lowers. 37" tires with cut flares. It was the full traction economy plus kit with billstein 5100. In total had about $1200 in the suspension.

I'm really excited to get it, my tires are close to 34 inches so it should look pretty good with the stock fenders. I have to re gear to go any bigger (stupid 3.21s). Does he take it wheeling or is it just a mall crawler? Looks amazing either way!

I don't know him well enough to say for sure, but he does work at a shop called RPM Offroad. They do a lot of Baja races and such
