Hmm hard to tell in pics, they look like they stick out quite a bit.

The silicone gives it an odd appearance but it dries clear.

I like the slanted better. It just didn't look right because my lights are a lot more narrow

Haven't looked yet- but I was expecting to be needing to cut metal- is it only plastic in those locations?

Awesome- thanks! I should have did a lil more research- I don't think these d2 knockoffs will work- I don't think there is enough clearance to frame- I need like 4.5" I think maybe there's only 2-3" of clearance before frame. Will take off bumper when it gets nice. Supposed to get another 8" of snow today ahh

*EDIT*

The D2 knockoffs would fit if you did them past 6 inches of the bumps on either side. In the middle of the holes I cut, that's where the depth goes away, but towards the center is Plenty for those D2 style lights.
