Default 33" tires with no lift vs. lifted with 35" tires

Does anyone have any pictures of their 2-door JK with 33" tires and no lift or a 2-door with small lift and 35" tires? I've got a 2-door JK with the 17" Pintler wheels and am trying to decide between the 33" Toyo Open Country M/T and no lift versus a small lift with 35" M/Ts. I had not been too interested in adding a lift, but I should consider it before I actually purchase the tires.

Any pictures and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you want to go with a bigger tire, do a Budget Boost, 2-2.5" poly spacers will give you the clearance for 33 or 35s. If you have the 4.10 gears, 35s shouldn't be a problem, go smaller if you have 3.21s. Here is mine with the 1 3/4 Daystar spacers and 33 Dueler Revos

If you have the 3.21 gears, the Jeep will be a bit slow. With the larger circumference/weight of the 35" tires, the 3.21 gear ratio is going to feel gutless and lose power on hills. The 4.10s work pretty well with 32's on Rubicons and Saharas, so a 33 isn't that much difference.

I agree with all point above. If you are running the X gearing, you will notice HUGE differences in the power, On straights, hills, etc. I was like WTF. So it is a trade, new gears later, as for pictures http://www.flickr.com/photos/spachef/505350744/ the 3.5" lift is UPS in parts, rear springs came today, fronts hopefully tom. But you can see the stock option with that pick. Those are 15" Predator wheels with 33" tires.

I couldn't decide either so I went for the middle. Lots of people are doing 2.5 Terra Flex BB and 35's and prolly an equal amount are doing 33's no lift. I did a 2 inch and 34's and could not be happier with the results. I'm trying to figure out how to post pics right now

Thanks for the posts. All these 2-door JKs look really good with 33" tires. I currently have the 3.21 gears, so the 33" is the way to go for me. I hope to regear in the future...maybe to the 4.88 or to a 4.56 when it becomes available.
