Default 33's and no lift??? Will it be ok for a while?????

G'Day all!

Well, my JK is here! Yay! I pick her up on Friday. Brand spanking new CRD Unlimited!

I have arranged with the dealer to have the Wheels and Tyres swapped with the stock-o's going out and a new set of 17x9 Mickey Thompson Classic 2's with 5x5 Offset and 33/12.5R17 tyres going on!

Unfortunately I am still waiting on the 2.5" Terraflex Budget Boost from Quadratec!

Will I be ok running the 33's with stock height for a while (hopefully not that long). And this includes will it be ok offroad with the stock height?

Thanks

Hey AusJK, congradulations on getting your new JK and welcome to JK-Forum! Regarding your question, yes, you should be just fine running 33's but you may experience some minor rubbing at a full turn on the air dam and if you go wheeling, you may see some rubbing at a full flex but that's about it.

Congrats on the new JK. I wish the diesal was available here in Canada...but I'll just cherish what I have. I am running 295/75R16's on the stock wheels, but I added a set of 1.5" SpiderTrax spacers. They still rub a little at full lock. Nothing major though.
