hey try checking out the cooper stt mt tire, they are 34s and will run circles around the bfg mt. they are quieter, thicker sidewalls, etc...im telling you, put a set of those on your jeep and you'll be able to walk the dog.

I have the Maxxis Bighorns in the 34" flavor (305/70/17's). I really like them, especially for the price.

Here are some pics.

Txhrns08, I think you'll be fine with a 2'' lift as long as the backspacing is right. You'll probably need to trim the airdamn but that's a 5 minute job.

Hey 2K1TJ,

Any rubbing with the FT 2"bb and 34's? Do you have disconnects?

I had very minimal rubbing while at full articulation, but I didn't have the front sway bar disco'd. I'm still running stock-length shocks ,so I didn't see the point in disconnecting. I also didn't install the bumpstop extensions that came w/ the kit though, so I don't think I'd have any/hardly any more rubbing from uptravel if I disco'd.

That said, I do have a set of 3/4" spacers that I'm gonna stack on top of the 2" in the front to level it out, and to eliminate the rubbing.

I can't find the cooper's in 34" for a 17" wheel... Any websights I should be checking? My Rubicon 2" lift is collecting dust in the living room and my wife is tired of seeing my online looking for tires.

Ah, Jeep parts in the living room...the sign of a true Jeeper

As for the Coopers, I can't find any of them anywhere near me. I finally gave up. This was last year though. They're pretty pricey anyway. I have heard good things about them though.

Edit: Check Ebay. I think there's a guy that has them on there. Seems like he had some for 17's but I can't remember. I was looking for 15's for my Scrambler at the time.

2K1TJ,
How are the Bighorns offroad? I don't want to loose any offroad performance going from the BFG MT's, but still need daily driver function.
