Default 35 12.50 17 Proper Air Pressure

I've read many varying opinions on it but am looking for something definitive. Toyo CSR told me 28 in front and 30 in the rear. Which is odd to me because you'd think you'd want more air in the front due to the weight of the motor. This is for on road driving, what say you guys?

There is no definitive answer. The chalk test will give you what you are looking for. Rim width and weight of your Jeep will both be factors.

I ran my 35's at 22-24psi but I have a light 2dr on 8.5" rims.

It's going to depend on the tire and how much added weight to your Jeep. I'm running 21PSI just to get flat contact on my tires using an 8.5" wide wheel.

I had Toyo AT2 in 35/12.5-17 and currently have Toyo R/T in the same size and I am sure they are built on the same carcass as the most Toyos in that size. I can tell you chalk testing does not work as there is no difference in the chalk test from 15psi to 35 psi. I go by the 10% rule and I have perfect tire wear and comfortable ride. ie from cold to heated up the psi should raise 10% so to make the math easy say cold you are at 30psi your tire psi when fully heated up ie 20 miles of road driving your psi should be at 33psi. I run about 26-28psi. I am in a four door jkur with a fair amount of weight. 17x8.5 rim

It's less 10% rule and more every 10° delta will cause a 1psi delta in your tires.

As stated above- there is no definitive answer and the best way to find out is to play with the pressure.

The chalk test will give you a good ball park figure but generally speaking anything between 26 and 29psi for a 35" tire on an empty 4 dr is good. It will definitely ride nice down in the 26psi range.
