Default 35s & 3.73 gears

Anybody running 35s with the 3.73 gear ration on a 6 speed? I know the 4.88 is the way to go but it'll have to wait a while. How's it perform on & off road?

I have 35's with 373's and an automatic and my performance is great. i'd imagine having a 6 speed and 35's would be more favorable.

With 35's and 4.88 you'll be spinning around 3k on the highway.

Someone from an aftermarket dealer (not going to say who) mentioned to me that regearing from 3.73 on the new JK wont make a difference if you're running 35s. It only makes a difference on the TJs. Is that true?

I had 3:73 on an auto with 35s for 4 months and the damn thing was always downshifting on regular freeway ups and downs, when i got the 5:13s there was no more down shifting or having a hard time keeping your speed or anything it was smooth sailing, I love it and got alittle better mpg too

WTF changing your gear ratio from 3.73 to 4.88 (or whatever) has the EXACT same effect on a JK or TJ or a 1972 Charger or any vehicle. Whoever told you that is an idiot

How does that logic make any sence? The name of the jeep doesnt change how gears work. I have 33's and 3.21s and wish I had at least 4.56's.

WOW, I guess it's true what they say about opinions being like a**hole*.
My wife has a stock 2007 unlimited auto with the 245x16's and 4.10 gearing. I think it's adequate at best.
I could not imagine the same tire with 3.73's let alone running 3.73's with 35's.
