Default 35s or 37s???

I am getting 5.13s and EVO C-Gussets installed over Christmas, and will have enough room under the fenders for either 35s or 37s. The problem is, my axles will be totally stock minus the EVO C-Gussets. I have a buddy running 37s on stock TJ Rubicon axles, and he hasn't broken them. Is this a smart idea for me though??? Maybe if I just take it easy on the trails???? Any help is appreciated!!!!!

Depends on the trails, depends on you, depends on luck. Since I've got my 37's, only wheeled them once , they've been on a month. Which is about my average, once a month wheelin. I have some spare axles front and rear, so I'm gonna continue to run like this until I toast the R&P.Whenever that may be.

I'm not locked at all but I do wheel it relatively hard about once a month or so

I made my desicion knowing that there was a high chance of failure, as long as your comfortable with that, then it's ok to go 37's.

Yes, 35s is a better bet, unless you want to limit your wheelin' because you don't want bust a shaft in the middle of nowhere.

And as Planman said fatigue is a big factor with axle loads because they are under constant dynamic loads. Many that claim to have no issues currently, can likely have a fatigue induced failure in the longer run.
